Their extremely high digestibility and rich nutrient, vitamin and mineral content make them ideally suited to covering the nutritional requirements of horses of all types of breeds and no matter what their discipline. St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellets are free from oats, thus making them suitable even for highly spirited horses, but can also be fed together with oats or muesli.
Wholegrain means cold-pressed
St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellets are, just like all St. Hippolyt products, produced at temperatures below 40°C, and by using an extremely gentle pressing procedure that ensures that all of their vegetable ingredients’ valuable nutrients (enzymes, phytochemicals, etc.) are ideally preserved. St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellets do not contain any bonding agents and thus, in conjunction with their easily digestible macro-structure, efficiently avoid all of the problems commonly associated with pelleted feeds.
Whole grain pellets have effectively revolutionised the way we now think about the nutritional value of pelleted horse feeds – and St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellet in particular distinguish themselves as a true all-rounder that is highly digestible and has a great taste.
Horses not only readily accept but love St. Hippolyt’s pellet feed, which also promotes thorough chewing. The more than 150 different individual components of these pellets present a great source of vital nutrients for horses of all types and breeds, and consistently balance any deficiencies associated with their general diets.
Economic feeding
Years of steady St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellet use by large stables and studs have shown that horses being fed St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellets have a better digestion and are better able to absorb nutrients from their feeds. Since they can be fed in very low quantities, St. Hippolyt’s whole grain pellets have proven to protect the digestive system, improve overall wellbeing and performance, promote relaxation, even temper and easy riding, as well as helping horses to better cope with moulting and stressful situations.
