St. Hippolyt’s Alfalfa MIX contains dried alfalfa and green oats, is specially treated to ensure that it is both clean and of continuous high quality – making it extremely versatile and easy to use.

Its high content of fermentable fibres, amino acids, sugars and oils make St. Hippolyt’s Alfalfa MIX very high in energy – and consequently ideally suited as a feed for sports and breeding horses. It can also be used to reduce or replace part of a daily grain ration, and to improve the digestibility of other daily feeds. It is also extremely popular because of the ease with which it can be carried along when eventing or travelling, as mixing St. Hippolyt’s Alfalfa MIX’s chaffed alfalfa with a horse’s grain ration will increase the volume of its concentrated feed ration, stimulate chewing and thus support digestion.
