Malt
Malting is a process applied to cereal grains in which the grains are made to germinate by soaking in water and are then quickly stopped from further germination by drying / heating with hot air. During germination, the grains produce a lot of enzymes that split protein, starch, cellulose and pentosans. These enzymes then convert the grains’ vital nutrients into soluble substances that will help the germ sprout. However, the drying of the grain when it is right in the middle of germination traps and preserves these substances, and the subsequent hours spent heating it give the resulting malt its typical and rich aroma.

Finest malt extracts
EquiMall is made by grinding and mixing five different types of malt and soaking them in water. This slow soaking causes the grains’ enzymes to release a vast range of essential nutrients, such maltose, malt sugar and isomaltol, which are highly nourishing sugar compounds that are found only in malt extracts. The vast range of volatile organic acids, polyphenols and decomposition products from protein compounds, such as amino acids and peptides, as well as nucleoside compounds, are a direct reflection of the wealth of vital and essential nutrients that are released by the grains enzymes’ activities. This wealth of goodness is rounded off by a great number of secondary and tertiary odours and flavours that combine to give malt its highly distinctive flavour.
Herbs, enzymes and antioxidants
EquiMall’s unique flavour is the result of a range of flavourings and herbs added to the mix later on and which, together with the malt’s enzymes, efficiently promote digestion. EquiMall also contains a range of natural phenol compounds such as flavonols, catechines and anthocyanins. These highly antioxidant substances contribute to protecting the heart, vessels, muscles, skin and nervous system.
Natural
While conventional malt beer usually contains added sugar, caramel and carbonic acid, EquiMall is a totally natural and alcohol-free product, and its dark colour and sweet flavour are simply the result of its extremely high malt content (the malt content of 300 ml EquiMall corresponds to that of more than 1l conventional malt beer). After adding the fresh and liquid yeast, EquiMall is gently heated. The lysed, bioactive yeast is particularly beneficial to damaged intestinal flora, is rich in natural B vitamins is especially suited for intestinal flora related problems, and poor general performance and health.
