Relaxed approach to sport
What the sports rider wants from his horse:
• the prompt build-up of loose muscle • high motivation for training and shows
• consistent endurance, e.g. during long-distance or day rides • complete commitment in performance sport, e.g. racing • shortened recovery phase
Optimal muscular metabolism
is initially manifested in a shortened warm-up phase. This enables the build -up of muscle to be achieved more rapidly in the training phase. Daily increases in performance are achieved more quickly and physical wear is minimised. Optimal muscular metabolism rapidly reduces muscular by-products (such as lactic acid), thus ensuring high motivation for the next training session.
SuperCondition
Horses that are subjected to strong muscular stress require a high degree of muscle-relevant nutrients, such as those that reduce muscular by-products and build muscle mass. These are generally insufficiently available in the scope of normal basic feeding. The revamped formula of SuperCondition concentrates on the specific addition of this nutrient. Our product has attracted particular interest in the field of top-level dressage horses and in the scope of feeding stud stallions during the breeding process. SuperCondition has also proved its worth in leisure horses, in particular in problem situations. This functional feedstuff is also ideally suited for highly-muscled western breeds.
Controlled release of nutrients
SuperCondition controls the release of nutrients from the intestine into the blood. Beginning with vegetable sugars from germs and fruit concentrates, glucose and fructose rapidly enter the bloodstream via the small intestine. This is later followed by the splitting off of starch from fermentive, opened cereals. Oily corn and wheat germs provide easily-digestible fats, which subsequently enter the bloodstream as free fatty acids, available in particular in the "hitting the wall" phase. The plant enzymes created by the fermentation aid easier digestion within the small intestine of the horse. Supported by brewer's yeast, pectin-rich energy sources such as dried apple improve the release of transient fatty acids for the energy metabolism.
Optimisation of the muscular metabolism
Vegetable lecithin promotes the biosynthesis of acetylcholine, an important transfer agent for non-tiring muscular work. This continuous supply of nutrients is supported by electrolytes, trace elements, vitamins and many other vital substances that form the basis for active muscular metabolism in sport. The use of natural basic components provides the performance horse with a broad spectrum of vitalising secondary metabolites.
