Over 60 different grasses and herbs of the pre-Alpine region, dried to a high quality and pressed into pellets provide the horse with a nutritious source of raw fibre, rich in vital substances. Ideally suited to feeding older horses, as well as horses with mould, hay or cereal allergies. Horses that are emaciated or at risk from laminitis benefit especially from this unobjectionable, easily-digested raw fibre. The low protein content is particularly well-suited for special breeds.

Pre Alpin is a highly natural product from over 60 different herbs and grasses of the Bavarian Alpine foreland. The special harvesting process means that there is no need for a nutrient-wasting post fermentation; the leaves and seeds remain largely retained. The result is a clean, premium product.

The structure of the plant can also still be clearly recognised following the pressing. Warm air drying reduces the formation of moulds and their toxic metabolic products that is often the case with low-quality hay and silage. The avoidance of moulds, mites, dirt and dust particles is particularly beneficial to allergy sufferers and horses with weak digestive systems. PRE ALPIN has also made a name for itself in the field of special breeds and with horses with protein sensitivity.

PRE ALPIN can also be soaked in water to soften for feeding to older horses with mastication problems to ensure that the necessary requirements of roughage are met and possible weight loss counteracted. Suitable as an alternative roughage or for the refinement of hay or silage, as well as a concentrated feed replacement for horses that should receive little or no cereal, a positive effect on digestion and nutritional condition is already noticeable from 2 kg per day.
