Whole food means varied
Vollwertpellets are designed as a solo concentrated feedstuff with hay and straw. The unusually good compatibility and range of nutrients and vital substances makes them ideally suited for sustenance and performance requirements in horses of all breeds and fields of use. Over 100 individual components, including corn and wheat germs, linseed, malt, brewer's yeast and many different herbs, offer the horse the means to extract the individual nutrients required from the range on offer.
Whole food means cold-pressed
Like all St. Hippolyt products, these pellets are also produced at temperatures of less than 40°C. Thickeners and preservatives are left out completely. The gentle pressing process retains the valuable plant ingredients (plant enzymes, secondary metabolites etc.). In combination with the digestion-aiding coarse structure this enables the disadvantages associated with standard pelleting processes to be consistently avoided. These pellets are eaten with enjoyment, and with a particularly high level of mastication.
Oat-free!
The Vollwertpellets are oat-free, in order to accommodate spirited horses. This makes them ideally suited for use as a balanced whole food feedstuff, but also as a supplement to oats.
Vollwertpellets light!
The composition of Vollwertpellets light is largely similar to that of Vollwertpellets, but with a lower energy density and higher proportion of digestion and metabolism-activating components. Suitable for horses with low or no performance requirements, for example in periods where they are not being ridden.
